Program Officer, Geneva 2030 Ecosystem

Eleonora Bonaccorsi is a sustainable development professional, enthusiastic about public policy, the Sustainable Development Goals, and global affairs.

She is part of the Tracking Progress Team at the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD).

As part of her work, she focuses on the Geneva 2030 Ecosystem—a project jointly convened by the Beyond Lab at UN Geneva and IISD. She actively establishes and builds relationships with Geneva-based organizations and networks to address SDG implementation challenges through information sharing, convening, and connecting. 

Eleonora also contributes to SDG Knowledge by following and reviewing high-level processes related to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. With more than six years of experience tracking movement on the SDGs, her expertise extends to researching, analyzing, and reviewing intergovernmental processes and negotiations related to the Global Goals, including the yearly High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.

She is fluent in Italian, English, French, and Spanish.
